The Red Dragon (2002). Description

Will Graham is a brilliant investigator who has unraveled many complex cases and caught seemingly elusive criminals. At one time, he decided to retire, because during a collision with one of the last, and also the most dangerous, killers Hannibal Lecter, he almost lost his life. Now the family he has to worry about is more important to him. But soon Detective Crawford arrives at his secluded house, who asks him to return, as another maniac has appeared in the country, whom no one can figure out.
After much thought, Will decides to return. He joins the rest of the investigators and tries to understand the logic of the killer. He soon comes to the conclusion that he cannot do without outside help. The main character is forced to turn to Hannibal Lecter to help him with the case. At the same time, Francis Dolorhide, who has a serious personality disorder, is constantly struggling with himself. He is captivated by William Blake's painting of a dragon, so now he believes that he will soon become the Red Dragon depicted on the canvas.
The maniac manages to commit one successful murder after another, while the police are still guessing. Soon, Will realizes who might be the next victim and decides to ambush the killer to end it.
